For years, the debate about so-called man-made climate change has been floating out in the ether, perhaps perceived by conservatives as an ominous but distant threat. After all, none of the cataclysmic predictions of flood and famine have come close to actually happening.
But Dr. Cal Beisner of the Cornwall Alliance for the Stewardship of Creation says the Biden administration's attacks on gas stoves, refrigerators, pizza ovens, and gas-powered cars may have crossed the Rubicon.
"What they don't realize is the enormous harm that's going to come to them from radical policies meant to fight climate change by substituting unreliable wind and solar for reliable natural gas or coal," Beisner submits.
Or maybe the climate change believers really do believe the changes they are demanding, such as eating bugs and rolling blackouts, really will save humanity?
"What’s more important: Keeping the lights on 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, or solving the climate crisis?" begins a Los Angeles Times op-ed that asks if rolling outages across that state of 40 million is good for the environment.

Last week, four liberal U.S. senators signed their names to a letter demanding the Department of Justice prosecute the fossil fuel industry for a "longstanding and carefully coordinated campaign" to mislead the public about climate change and its causes.
"The actions of ExxonMobil, Shell, and potentially other fossil fuel companies represent a clear violation of federal racketeering laws, truth in advertising laws, consumer protection laws, and potentially other laws," the letter states, "and the Department must act swiftly to hold them accountable for their unlawful actions."
Meanwhile, Beisner says the power grid is nowhere near robust enough to handle the changes the Biden administration is pushing. And soon, when the woke climate policies literally hit home, he predicts Americans will push back.
"I'm happy with a degree or so, or a couple of degrees of increase in global average temperature, as long as I can still cool my home during a heat wave," the Alliance founder poses.
But some things cannot be boycotted like beer or theme parks can, so he says the change will need to happen at the ballot box before rolling brownouts or power rationing can be enforced.
"I will not vote for you if you support radical action to fight climate change," Beisner declares.
