Could notorious Carhart be forced to quit bloody abortion business?

Nebraska pro-lifers are hoping a notorious abortionist will be forced to hang out an out-of-business sign for good after the state’s department of health received a complaint begging it to step in.

Leroy Carhart, known as the abortionist who sued to block the Partial Birth Abortion Act, is named in a complaint that lists 27 medical emergencies and two medical malpractice cases involving the doctor, who is now 80.

“Their injuries were so horrific,” says Cheryl Sullenger, vice president emeritus of Operation Rescue, “that the hospital staff was offered trauma counseling after treating these two women.”

Pro-life activists have also documented that two women have died at abortion clinics where Carhart worked.

The complaint names Carhart and his C.A.R.E. abortion clinic located in Bellevue, Nebraska.

Sullenger says a career of serious safety issues are “more than apparent,” and now the Nebraska Dept. of Health and Human Services has received the complaint and is investigating.
