Research shows what Sanders knows: Voters aren't buying Harris' new policy positions

A pro-family activist says it is interesting that Sen. Bernie Sanders would admit that Kamala Harris is not abandoning her far-left ideals.

In the run up to the debate between former President Donald Trump and Vice President Kamala Harris one of the most far-left lawmakers of all-time, Sanders of Vermont, was interviewed by NBC anchor Kristen Welker about the Democrat nominee's apparent flip-flopping on multiple issues.

“She has previously supported Medicare for all. Now she does not. She's previously supported a ban on fracking. Now she does not. These, Senator, are ideas that you have campaigned on. Do you think that she is abandoning her progressive ideals?” Welker asked.

“No, I don't think she's abandoning her ideals. I think she's trying to be pragmatic and doing what she thinks is right in order to win the election,” Sanders responded.

“It's not shocking, but it is interesting that Bernie Sanders would say it out loud, that yeah, she's lying to you. And that's something we should all take to heart. She was the most liberal senator in the United States Senate when she was there. Now she's trying to pretend to be a moderate. And I don't think there's anybody

that's really buying this, including people in her own party."

Porter expects President Trump will try to expose Harris' record during Tuesday night's debate.

A poll released last Friday by Scott Rasmussen’s RMG Research found that voters don’t believe Harris is sincere in her support for these new policy positions.

The numbers vary by issue, but collectively they reach the same conclusion: voters believe Harris is a progressive Democrat.
