What does it mean that Jesus preached to the spirits in prison?
After Jesus was crucified, He found himself in Abraham's bosom, or the paradise part of Sheol (Hades), where He preached to those who loved God and accepted forgiveness through Him. The message was the same then as it is now: If you put your faith in Jesus, when you leave this world, you will be in the presence of the Savior. You will be with God forever.
