Thursday, the U.S. and Iran will hold their next round of nuclear talks this week in Geneva. This marks the third round of nuclear talks between the two countries.
According to PBS News, the talks are in response to President Donald Trump’s assembling the “largest fleet of warplanes and aircraft in the Mideast in decades.” The purpose of which was to back Iran into a deal amid its violent response to nationwide protests.

Trump stated on Feb. 19 that Tehran has 10-15 days to make a deal. Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian has said he believes that a good outcome will be achieved.
The U.S. envoy includes Steve Witcoff and Jared Kushnerm, Trump’s son-in-law, and they will meet with Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi, leader of the Iranian delegation.
The Islamic regime faces the threat of a U.S. military strike if they do not agree to a nuclear deal. However, the nuclear issue is not the only concern. The U.S. and Israel also want to address Iran's missile program and its support for armed proxies in the Middle East.
Michelle Bachmann is dean of the Robertson School of Government at Regent University and a former congresswoman. She says that this situation needs to be looked at through a spiritual lens.
"I believe that God put Prime Minister Netanyahu and President Trump into office for a specific purpose,” states Bachmann. “I think this is the purpose: to take down and cut off the head of the snake, which is Iran. This is a doctrine of demons that has had held sway and control over Iran for 47 years because they say every single day 'death to Israel, death to the United States’."
She believes that the time for Israel and the U.S. to defeat Iran is close.
“So it could be at any moment that that we see Israel and the United States coming together for the purpose of defeating the Iranian threat through both nuclear weapons and precision guided missiles,” states Bachmann.
Because of this, she want to encourage those who listen.
“We need to be praying. We need a prayer shield over our leaders. We're called to pray for those in authority. This is the greatest threat that the world faces, and that's a nuclear Iran with precision guided missiles," states Bachmann.
