‘Frightened’ Jill Biden could have let go of the power … but didn’t

‘Frightened’ Jill Biden could have let go of the power … but didn’t

Jill Biden claims that after the 2024 Presidential Debate, she was frightened by the state of her husband's health.

In the interview with “CBS News Sunday Morning” for her new book, Jill Biden said she’d never seen Joe Biden act in such a way before or since.

Most Americans remember the scene of Jill Biden’s reaction to Joe’s performance after he was soundly defeated by Donald Trump.

“Joe, you did such a great job! You answered every question; you knew all the facts!” she cheered to the crowd following the debate.

“And let me ask the crowd, what did Trump do? Lie, yes lie,” she said as the crowd followed her lead.

Jill Biden has now come out and said that she believed that her husband was having a stroke as she watched him during the event.

“I wasn't horrified, I was frightened. Because I had never ever seen Joe like that before, or since. Never, and it scared me to death,” she said.

She described watching him as akin to viewing a "glitching AI hologram" of the man she knew, wondering if he was "short-circuiting" due to illness, exhaustion, or medication like Ambien or codeine cough syrup.

Recently on American Family Radio, AFN's Fred Jackson talked about Jill's reaction and questioned her decision to support her husband's reelection campaign in 2024.

“She had to see his mental decline, prior to the debate, and afterwards. You love this man? You just take him by the hand and say ‘Joe, number one, don't run again, it's time Joe. You've done great things for this country. You've served your country. Just let it go.’ But she didn't.

Questions have arisen about Jill's true intentions behind the comments about Joe and his physical and mental state in June of 2024.

The former first lady’s book is due to be out next week, titled "View from the East Wing: A Memoir"

Jill Biden admitted she still does not know what caused the performance which ultimately led President Biden to withdraw from the 2024 race and endorse Vice President Kamala Harris.

Her comments, released nearly two years after the event, have reignited discussions within the Democratic Party regarding the timing of her revelation and the party's handling of concerns about the former president's age and fitness.
