The multi-billionaire understands that upsetting the apple cart over at Twitter will make him Enemy #1 to much of the left, and he's okay with that. But last Tuesday a suspected antifa thug tracked down his car, blocked it and climbed up on the hood – in full black bloc gear. Musk himself wasn't in the car, but his son X was.
That crossed a line, and Musk went full liberal and banned the accounts of several reporters he thinks helped the thug get to his car by pointing to the account of a person who posted where Musk's plane – and therefore his family – are at any given moment. The mainstream media, of course, left out certain important details when they reported on the ban. For example, MSNBC's Alex Wagner:
Wagner: "Many of the suspended accounts had recently written about a dispute between Twitter's new owner, Elon Musk, and a 20-year-old Florida college student who uses public information to track Musk's jet."
MSNBC, The Washington Post, The New York Times, CNN and others cried about how unfair the bans were. Washington Times columnist Robert Knight was on American Family Radio last week and noted there wasn't a peep from those outlets when the shoe was on the other foot.
"They don't mind when conservatives are censored all the time by social media," he stated.
Knight added it's the latest example of how the mainstream media is dropping the ball when it comes to covering Musk and Twitter.
"I see breaking stories about the Twitter files, and I pick up my Washington Post in the morning – because I have to read that rag every day for what I do – and they're ignoring the story completely," the columnist reports.
