“Lies, lies, lies,” Mark Tepper, a Wall Street advisor, complained to Fox Business recently. “It’s all lies for the Dems.”
In just one example, AFN reported this week that Vice President Kamala Harris was confronted on “Meet the Press” about her claim the U.S.-Mexico border is “secure” when literally two million illegal aliens are expected to cross it by the end of 2022.
Karine Jean-Pierre, the tongue-twisted White House press secretary, recently insisted to a room of reporters that the “primary drivers” behind inflation are the virus pandemic and Vladimir Putin.
All by itself, the topic of a battered economy and struggling Americans could keep a newsroom of fact-checkers busy if they were honest. After all, there was the sudden redefining of a recession, which is two consecutive quarters of negative GDP growth, for which a Snopes article conveniently called a “subjective” definition.
In another audacious claim, President Biden bragged in July that inflation was “zero percent” because he was comparing June’s figures to July. Inflation is measured on a yearly basis, like the 8.5% jump from July 2021, however. Faced with Biden’s own words, Snopes was forced to call public uproar over Biden’s claims a “correct attribution.”
Democrats, Tepper told Fox Business, “are really just hoping and praying that America is dumb enough to believe what they're telling us.”
