Vance criticizes Israel's disagreement with Trump and Iranian peace deal

Vice President JD Vance blasted Israeli officials attacking President Donald Trump over his Iran deal, warning that Trump is "the only head of state in the entire world" currently sympathetic to Israel.

As reported by AFN, Trump used several expletives in an interview with Axios to berate Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who has steadfastly refused to stop hitting back at the terrorists for launching rocket attacks into northern Israel.

One of the stipulations in the peace deal from Iran includes Israel withdrawing their military forces from Lebanon. Israel is continuing their offensive against Hezbollah the area as the Iranian-backed group has been striking Israel since the war began.

During a news conference at the White House, Vance scolded the Israelis for attacking the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the president.

"I saw the Axios report that Netanyahu is fuming. That's not reflective of the conversations that I've had with him, but maybe he's saying something to somebody else that he's not saying to me,” Vance said in a clip from CNN International. “What I will say — and this does bother me — is that you've seen people within BiBi's (Netanyahu) cabinet who have come out and attacked the deal and, in some ways, very personally attacked the president of the United States."

Vance has a two-fold message for the Israelis.

“Donald J. Trump is the only head of state in the entire world who is sympathetic to the nation of Israel at this moment in time, and he happens to be the head of state of the world’s super power,” he said. "If I was in the cabinet of the Israeli government, I might not be attacking the only powerful ally that I have anywhere left in the entire world."

He also reminded Israel where much of their defensive weaponry comes from.

"That over the last three months, two-thirds of the defensive weapons that have protected your homeland have been built by American hands and paid for by American tax dollars,” Vance said. “The problem for Israel is not Donald J. Trump, and anybody in Israel who thinks their biggest problem is the president of the United States needs to wake up and smell the reality of the situation that country is in."
