Campus Reform reports the class puts an emphasis on not only individuals but communities in the trans movement.
The course examines ‘the diversity of gendered experiences across the history of the United States with an emphasis on the individuals, communities, and movements that have been interpreted as trans.’
Jon Schweppe of the American Principles Project:
"When you understand that the purpose of academia for the Left is not to get your child a job, it's not to make sure that you're equipped to be an adult, it is to indoctrinate pure and simple. So that's why they see these kinds of ridiculous classes."
Schweppe says Republicans need to do more by defunding universities if they're headed down this radical path.
How do these bathrooms work, again?
The class instructor, Nikita Shephard, is currently doing a doctoral dissertation on "the public bathroom in modern America," Schweppe says.
“The reality is that Academic institutions today are insanely left wing, and they are trying to push this stuff on your kids. So, you need to know what classes they're in, what they're learning."
Shephard’s past work has included research on “Radical Faeries,” a group that includes “drag queens, leatherfolk, political activists, witches, (and) magicians,” who get together to “do drag,” “make love,” “dance naked,” “cry, sing, laugh, argue,” “sew,” “commit heresies,” and “cover each other with mud,” Campus Reform reports.
