"I feel safe when there are no police," the narrator says near the end of the 58-second clip titled "Woke Kindergarten 60 Second Texts: Safe."
A spokesperson for the Fairfax County Public Schools, just outside Washington, D.C., said the video, which had been included in a summer learning guide at Bailey's Elementary School for the Arts and Sciences in Falls Church along with content related to critical race theory, Black Lives Matter, and news articles critical of white parents, according to a report in the Fairfax Times, had been posted by mistake and was removed as soon as officials became aware.
Fox News reports that a former board member thinks "someone needs firing." Linda Harvey of Mission: America adds that content like that is promoting lawlessness in schools.
"Children will accept this," she warns. "They will believe this, especially kindergartners in this case. They're being indoctrinated to distrust law and order. This can only lead to more chaos and to destabilizing our entire society."
Harvey suspects the leftists' motive is to get the police resource officers out of schools.
"The idea is that you take police away, and there will be less misbehavior by students," she relays, calling that "irrational thinking. Violence does go on in many schools, and more violence will happen if there's no police presence to deter it."
Harvey says the radical Advocates for Youth wants the money currently budgeted for police to be redirected to comprehensive sex education.
