Show Host Jenna Ellis recently tackled this crisis on a broadcast of her morning show on American Family Radio (AFR). She warned that simply labeling Democrats as socialists isn't working anymore.
“When we get into Gen Z and Gen Alpha, Republicans and conservatives are going to have to make a better case. The younger generation actually isn’t moved by simply saying, ‘Well, these are socialist candidates,’” Ellis says.
It also doesn’t help that more Americans are viewing socialism more favorably, according to recent studies.
Rich Baris, director of Big Data Poll and author of the book “Burn It Down,” spoke with Ellis on AFR, warning that America's political complacency could lead to a rapid historical unraveling. Baris covered much of this data in his book.
“America is exceptional, but it's not exempt from the rules of nature. It's not exempt from history,” Baris says. “This could go sideways, and it can go sideways very quickly.”
Even more alarming, Baris said polling shows a massive chunk of the right-wing coalition is ready to walk away from the traditional two-party setup entirely.
“We're at a point now where JD Vance, if he ran as an independent, would actually get a higher vote share than every Republican ticket that we tested, which tells you there is a huge chunk of the right-wing coalition that doesn't want to do this anymore,’ Baris says. “And that's terrifying. It really is.”
Gary Bauer told AFN about rumors of a third party regarding Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Kentucky), who has clashed with the Trump administration.
With over $40 trillion in national debt, Ellis pointed out that conservatives cannot afford a decade-long political wilderness.
Throughout the course of midterm election campaigns, Republicans have come out calling for people to vote Republican, regardless of any disagreement on policy or controversial candidate, just to keep Democrats out of important seats.
