The research was commissioned by Concerned Women for America (CWA) and conducted by Zogby Analytics to determine the where the public fell regarding midterm election issues.
On the issue of abortion and healthcare, 67.6% favor requiring in-person doctor visits prior to dispensing abortion drugs. Looking deeper, 68.9% of men and 66.2% of women believe it’s time to return to a doctor’s visit.
When it comes to medications and surgeries for minors wanting a "gender transition," 63.9% of people oppose these things for anyone under the age of 18. Again, this is believed by 62% of men and 66% of women.
Meanwhile, 69.3% say a candidate's opposition to allowing biological males in female sports and locker rooms is an important factor in their vote. This accounts for 71% of men and 67.3% of women.
Penny Nance, president and CEO of CWA, said that she was encouraged by the poll results in during a politically divisive time, saying this should be a “roadmap” for conservative candidates.
“Candidates running for office this year must recognize that voters are widely supportive of protecting women’s health, the ability to raise children, fairness in women’s sports, protecting children from gender transitions and from TV content with LGBTQ themes,” she said on the polls release.
Nance also spoke to AFN about the results of the survey.
"About 60% of people believe that it's concerning that Netflix shows have LGBTQ themes and content for children," Nancy says.
As for public safety and other policies, 69.4% support requiring the marijuana industry to develop a roadside test for driving under the influence (such as a breathalyzer).
"We are encouraged by the poll results, especially in this politically divisive time," said Nance. "This poll should serve as a roadmap for conservative candidates."
The survey was conducted online from July 1–4, 2026 with 1,003 likely U.S. voters.
