England is at a tipping point, according to Elon Musk. Mediaite reports on an interview Must had with The Economist. Speaking to Zanny Minton Beddoes, the British news outlet’s editor-in-chief, Musk says that Muslims who have taken over entire towns in England are clashing with Brits because they are making no effort to assimilate.
Musk: “If you have a large and rapidly growing group of people whose beliefs are antithetical to Western beliefs, at some point there will be a reckoning.”
However, Beddoes claims Musk is exaggerating and giving a false view of the U.K. to his millions of social media followers.
Beddoes: “A kind of view that Europe and the U.K. are kind of, you know, overrun with terrifying Muslim immigrants. There's rape on every corner.”
According to a report from Great Britain, a quarter million young white girls have been victimized by what are called grooming gangs over the past several decades. Girls as young as 12 years old have been raped, trafficked, tortured and/or forced into sham marriages, mainly at the hand of Muslim immigrants.
When Beddoes sensed she was losing her argument, Beddoes turned to an ad hominem attack.
Beddoes: “People say that you're a racist. What is the motivation for doing that?”
Musk: “My partner, she's half Indian, and I have four children with her. One of them was named after a famous Indian physicist. So, I would say I'm not racist.”
Beddoes: “Are you anti-Muslim?”
Musk: “If people are coming to a country with antithetical views, I am against that. I'm against rape and murder. I'm against imposition of rules and laws that are contrary to what we've come to accept in the West.”
The personal attacks against Musk continued during the interview.
Beddoes: “Some people do loathe you.”
Musk: “Yes, some people do.”
Beddoes: “But do you understand why?”
Musk: “Maybe some people do loathe me, and that's probably true. I don't care.”
