Not happy with how things are going politically? Vote.

Pastor Jack Hibbs of Calvary Chapel Chino Hills spoke with Jenna Ellis on American Family Radio. He points to last week's Democratic victories in New York City, New Jersey, Virginia, and California, saying that "we either got caught with our liberty down or we have somehow fallen asleep in such a way that we have not engaged in the republic."

New York City, New Jersey, and Virginia recently had races for political offices, which were completely swept by the Democratic Party, according to the Associated Press. New Jersey and Virginia now have Democratic governors, with Virginia also gaining a Democratic lieutenant governor and attorney general.

Democrat Zohran Mandani was elected mayor of New York City, beating out former Gov. Ander Cuomo with a 9-point lead and Republican candidate Cutis Sliwa. When it comes to Mamdani being elected, Hibbs said he "can only assume that the Christian community in the New York area did not vote."

"How does a New York mayor who is a self-proclaimed socialist Muslim, 24 years after the attack on September 11, 2001, by Muslims become mayor?" asks Hibbs. "We are not — as we were warned by Ben Franklin — we are not keeping the republic. That's for sure."

Meanwhile, Proposition 50 in California involved redistricting as a means of boosting Democrats ahead of the 2026 midterm election. Associated Press reports that this will allow the Democratic party the ability to win an additional five seats in the House of Representatives.

Smaller conservative areas will be absorbed with liberal-leaning counties, and Republican congressmen will see their seat given to Democratic candidates as their district gain more liberal voters.

"Prop 50 was a massive blatant steal by the Democrat party led by Gavin Newsom, and the voter turnout among the conservatives was very, very weak," says Hibbs.

Because of that, Hibbs said that Christian and conservatives did not stop this terrible proposition through voting.

“We've been analyzing this since Tuesday,” states Hibbs. “The ground we made in the last 27 years we lost in one night regarding Prop 50. That said, it came about because of apathy."
