Democratic socialists are fake Democrats who are in the process of a hostile takeover of the Democrat Party, according to a group called Canary Mission. Its purpose it to document individuals and organizations that promote hatred of the USA, Israel and Jews on North American college campuses and beyond.
In doing so, it has produced a mini-documentary called Hostile Takeover which features Democrat Socialists saying they're only pretending to be Democrats.
From Hostile Takeover: “The DSA is not the Democratic Party. We must separate ourselves from the toxic Democratic Party. We can put forth a clear, aggressive, principled strategy that pushes back against the Democratic leadership and the Democratic Party as a whole.
“And once inside, they use the Democratic label as camouflage while advancing an extremist anti-American agenda far beyond the party's mainstream.”
These are what most people call the radical fringe of the Democrat Party but a group that some say has taken control of the party.
More from Hostile Takeover: “We're not here to make the Democrats a little bit better. We're here to actually enact socialism. Socialism is not just better capitalism. It's overthrowing the entire capitalist state.”
That would be the United States government. Canary Mission says it will eventually be evident to New York voters what they have done, by then it will be too late for the Big Apple.
“New York City is poised to elect, not a Democrat, but Zohran Mamdani, an extremist within the DSA. We understand that winning an election is not an end. It is a means to an end,” the documentary states.
