NBC rolls out 'Queer Planet' to assure you this is totally normal

A Christian activist says an upcoming pro-LGBTQ documentary is another example of that community screaming for attention.

NBC is introducing a new documentary that is meant to convince people that homosexuality is rampant in the animal kingdom. "Queer Planet" will be streaming on NBC's Peacock Network, and it claims every species displays homosexuality – and asserts that animals know best:

Queer Planet trailer: "Queerness has always existed. It's only in humans that we have such a stigma about it. The idea of just having two fixed sexes is clearly out of style."

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality says the idea is built on one stunningly obvious fallacy: "First of all, of course, we don't get our morality from animals. We don't get our behavioral practices from animals," he points out.

God created men and women with a moral code that doesn't exist in his animal creations. But in NBC's humanistic, postmodern world, if animals are doing it … well.

LaBarbara argues that "gay" activists must keep shouting they're "normal" because by every measure – biology, history, logic, etc. – humans' bodies scream out God's design: men and women together.

"[Those activists] are desperate," LaBarbara tells AFN. "I think it's the same reason why they have a whole 'Pride Month' and why they have 35 different special days – because they constantly have to be screaming out: 'We're normal and natural, we're normal and natural!'"

According to LaBarbera, if somebody made that argument 100 times a day, "you'd probably say to them, 'You know what? You protest a little too much.'"
